It’s been a month since I blogged? I knew that the summer was going to fly but it really is. July has been jam packed. Hubs siblings (Christina, Mike, and Mike’s wife Susi) came for the fourth. We went to the beach, the boardwalk, the aquarium, watched the fireworks from right outside to tow truck lot. Lemme explain further how that happened. Plans were to leave for the fireworks by 7 since they started at 930. Figured that would be enough time to get the 3 miles to the oceanfront, find parking, and be sitting on the beach with time to spare. Well after running out of propane for our grill half way through cooking dinner, Hubs attempting to help a drug addict (don’t ask), our friends getting pulled over, and a gross underestimation of the amount of traffic we made it two blocks from the beach when the fireworks lit up the sky. Next year we’re packing up dinner and brining it to the beach.
The same day that they left Jazz, Steve, and baby Roman (still inside) came for the weekend. We went to the beach again and relaxed. AE and UB had to cancel their trip but are hoping they can reschedule soon! Then Mia, the pups, and I went to stay with Jazz for a few days. We spent a lot of time in the pool in NC.
Karen came to visit the weekend after and Friday it’s already time to pack up for vacation in NY.
Mia has changed a lot in the last month. No real talking yet but sure seems like she thinks she’s having a conversation with me. She’s getting new teeth all over the place which has not been fun. Her 18 month check up is at the end of the month and we’ll see how much growing she’s done!
